Technician Training
A pharmacy technician helps a licensed pharmacist dispense medicines and other health products to patients. Technicians also receive prescriptions from doctors or requests for refills from patients. Auto mechanics work on a variety of vehicles, including cars and light trucks. They typically do not work on diesel engines, but they may repair vehicles that run on gasoline, alternative fuels or electricity. They perform maintenance and conduct more extensive auto repairs.
Their responsibilities now involve understanding how to use high-tech machinery and computers designed to make their work easier and faster. Likewise, today’s mechanics understand how complex electrical and computerized equipment on modern vehicles work.
As a result of the high-tech world of auto mechanics today, auto mechanics must have the technical know-how to do their jobs.
